<p>Sapphire&#8217;s utroligt populære Vapor-X teknologi, har netop fundet vej til HD 5770.</p>
<p>Vapor-X er en helt ny teknologi, som Sapphire længe har stået i spidsen for at få standardiseret, og det er der skam al mulig god grund til. Vapor-X er nemlig langt mere effektiv, end de heatpipes, som der &#8220;normalt&#8217;&#8221;-vis bliver brugt i grafikkort kølere. Vapor-X bygger på de samme principper, men fylder langt mindre, er som sagt,langt mere effektiv. Det betyder også at Sapphire har kunne bryste sig af bla. det hurtigste fabriksoverclockede grafikkort fra HD 4800-serien på markedet, netop fordi kølingen har været konkurrenterne overlegen.</p>
<p>Derfor er ATi&#8217;s nye topkort i HD 5800-serien, også udkommet i Vapor-X udgaver, men nu følger altså også HD 5700-serien trop.</p>
<p>Det nye HD  5770 Vapor-X, skulle efter sigende opnå en maximal-temeratur, der ligger hel 9 grader lavere end samme kort med referencekøler, selv om Vapor-X udgaven, tilmeder overclocket fra 850, til 860 MHz.</p>
<p>Sapphire HD 5770 Vapor-X, har support for både CrossFireX og DirectX 11. Det har desuden 800 streamprocessorere og 1 GB GDDR5 på 4800MHz. Der kan tilsluttes HDMI, DVI og Displayport.</p>
<p>Kortet er på vej i julehandlen, til en pris på ca. €145,- eller hvad der svarer til små kr. 1100,-</p>

<p>Verdens første single slot GTX 260 er netop annonceret fra grafikkortproducenten Galaxy. Kniber det med pladsen på bundkortet, og ønskes der samtidig solid performance, så er her løsningen.</p>
<p>Galaxy GTX 260 er muligvis verdens kraftigste single slot grafikkort, med 216 cores og 896 MB GDDR3 RAM. Shader og RAM er clocket til hhv. 1350- og 1350 MHz. GPU&#8217;en (55nm GT200b) er clocket til 625 MHz.</p>
<p>Kølingen af kortet gør brug af den såkaldte Vapor Chamber teknologi, der bedst kan beskrives som en fladtrykt heatpipe, med et heaksink på toppen. Det er bla. samme løsning som Sapphire&#8217;s utroligt populære Vapor-X grafikkort benytter sig af.</p>
<p>Galaxy GTX 260 bruger 2 stk. 6-pinstrømadaptere og har DVI, HDMI og DisplayPort udgange.</p>
<p>Releasedato og pris endnu ukendt.</p>
